24 Hour Skilled Nursing Residence Our eighty-three bed skilled nursing facility provides resident centered care with state of the art technology. Spacious lounges and lobbies, private dining facilities, an interfaith chapel, a beauty/barber shop and therapeutic whirlpool baths are just a few of the amenities that we offer. Residents benefit from our tastefully decorated rooms, each with a large window and a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. Highly qualified and dedicated nursing staff makes River Hills Village an exceptional leader in retirement communities. Our top priority is the comfort and well being of each of our residents. We provide twenty four hour care with fully staffed teams of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and state certified nursing assistants. River Hills Village provides long term, short term, respite and hospice care. Due to shorter hospital stays, nursing care facilities are now a transition between the hospital and independent living at home. Many seniors benefit from a brief skilled care stay in a nursing facility and then return home to resume healthy, productive lifestyles. We are proud of our restaurant style dining with nutritious meals and selective menus. The entire team takes ownership to ensure that mealtime is a source of pleasure and companionship. Private dining rooms are also available for our residents to use with their family and friends. Physical, occupational and speech therapies are available six days a week to those residents requiring skilled services. Our licensed professional therapists offer daily education to our certified nurse assistants to provide an active restorative program. Our comprehensive rehabilitation program plays an important role in enhancing independence and fostering self-reliance. Security is of the utmost importance. Video cameras are placed throughout the facility so that every hallway and doorway is visible to key staff. We recently installed a code alert system for those cognitively at risk residents. We encourage family outings; we just ask that you let staff know when you leave the building. Admissions are coordinated by our Marketing Director, Director of Nursing and Social Services Director. All referrals and inquires are reviewed by our team. Once the necessary medical and financial information is received, a prompt response on appropriateness for placement can be given. Our nursing residence is dually certified for Medicare and Medicaid programs. River Hills Village accepts residents with third party payments (insurance), Medicare and Medicaid (public) payments. We will assist in determining eligibility for insurance and/or medical payment programs; and we will help in completing all required forms
